Study Island
by Deb Gripp
Students can prepare for the Illinois Standards Achievement Assessments (ISAT) at home by taking tests on the Study Island web site. Students should read the lesson first, then take the test. If the score is E (Exceeds standards) or M (Meets standards) the student will earn a blue ribbon. If the score is a B (Below standards) or an AW (Academic Warning), then the students should reread the lesson and retake the test until they earn a ribbon.
After a ribbon is earned, the student can play games that also teach the skills that will be tested on the ISAT in March.
Students know how to log into Study Island. The user name is the student's first name and last name. The password is girard.
